Cookie Policy

1. Our approach
Produce Network uses Google Consent Mode v2 on this site. Until you make a choice, all non-essential storage is denied by default: no cookies are set and nothing is stored on your device. No Google tag, no Microsoft Clarity script and no advertising tag loads at all until you accept — the request to those vendors is never made. Strictly necessary storage, meaning your consent preference and session state, is the only thing written before you choose.
The following consent signals are default denied until you explicitly accept:
analytics_storagead_storagead_user_dataad_personalization
This means that if you land on this site and do nothing, no cookie is set, nothing is stored on your device, and none of the vendors below — Google included — receive anything at all. This is enforced in code — not just a policy statement.
2. The banner and changing your choice
When you visit for the first time, a banner gives you three options:
- Accept all — enables analytics and advertising cookies.
- Reject all — declines all non-essential cookies; strictly necessary storage only.
- Manage preferences — set analytics and advertising categories independently.
Your choice is remembered. You can change it at any time using the Cookie preferences control in the site footer. Withdrawing consent stops new data from being collected; it does not delete data already sent to a vendor before you withdrew.
3. What we use
The table below describes the categories of storage and the vendors in each. We do not list specific cookie names or durations because vendors update these regularly — refer to each vendor’s own policy (linked in section 4) for exact details.
| Category | Vendor / Purpose | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Your cookie consent preference (so we remember your choice) and session state required for the site to function. | No — the site cannot work without this |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4 — web analytics (page views, sessions, conversions); IP anonymisation is enabled and no raw IP addresses are stored. Google Tag Manager — loads and manages the tags listed on this page. It sets no cookies of its own and fires nothing that is not listed here. pn_ab — a first-party experiment-assignment cookie that records which version of a page you were shown so we can measure which works better. It holds no personal data, lasts 180 days, and is set only after you accept analytics cookies. | Yes — analytics_storage |
| Advertising | No advertising tag runs on this site at present. The category is listed because the consent controls offer it, and because any tag added later appears in this table in the same release that makes it load. | Yes — ad_storage + ad_user_data + ad_personalization |
4. More detail
Each vendor operates under their own privacy policy and data-processing terms:
